100 ANNI FA STAVA PER COMINCIARE LA I GUERRA MONDIALE
70 ANNI FA AVREBBE INIZIATO A VOLGERE AL TERMINE LA II GUERRA MONDIALE

Sebbene Genova abbia dovuto subire pesanti bombardamenti da parte delle Forze Alleate del Commonwealth per il particolare momento storico che stava vivendo l’Italia durante la Seconda Guerra Mondiale molti uomini soldati, marinai e civili che componevano i corpi d’armata che combatterono in Italia persero la vita sul suolo italiano, sia nella prima che nella seconda guerra mondiale, contribuendo con il loro sacrificio alla fine della guerra.
Molti di loro riposano da decenni nel nostro paese nella particolari sezioni a loro riservata dei Commonwealth War Graves Cemeteries.
I loro nomi meritano di non rimanere nell’oblio.

70 YEARS AGO WAS STARTED TO TURN AT THE END OF THE II WORLD WAR II

Although Genoa had to suffer heavy bombing by the Allied Forces of the Commonwealth for the particular historical moment that was experiencing Italy during the Second World War many soldiers, sailors and civilians fought in Italy lost their life on Italian soil, both during the first and the second world war, contributing with their sacrifice to the end of the war.
Many of them are buried in our country in particular sections reserved for them and called Commonwealth War Graves Cemeteries.
Their names do not deserve to be forgotten.
