La definizione comprendeva gruppi spesso diversi tra loro, che spaziava dallo sperimentalismo alle influenze cosmiche dei Tangerine Dream e dei Cluster, alle anticipazioni di New Age degli Ash Ra Temple e dei Popol Vuh, ai “precursori” techno Kraftwerk fino al rock apocalittico degli Amon Düül. Alcuni componenti come Klaus Schulze furono tra i più
