I receive sometimes queries regarding my landscape photography gear, my video making gear and even my outdoor gear.
Below, I have compiled a list of everything I own that I believe is worthy enough to mention.
I precise that I do not have any connection, endorsement or sponsorship of any sort from the mentioned brand name or any commercial tie whatsoever
(and in fact, you will not find any link… and by the way, you can easily find every brand with simple research…. )
These facts make me very independent and the expressed opinions are only mine
and only truth based on my photography and trekking direct experiences.

LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY GEAR>

Cameras:

– NIKON 800E      A really reliable camera. Thousands of photos, from freezing mountains to very warm deserts and not one photo went wrong (unless it was my fault…).

– NIKON 850     A camera I have not used so many times I would have wanted. Although an advancement regards to the D800E as they have changed many command bits&pieces I must confess that on many occasions instead of losing time in learning again many different things I prefer to use again the D800E.

– NIKON P1000     A very very long tele lens up to 2000 and more. It is not of the quality of the D800 lens but it is very useful in discovering long-distance sites…

– APPLE IPHONE 12 PRO MAX+DIJ GIMBLE     Very useful in many see&shot cases…

Video Cameras:

– CANON     

– NIKON 800E      A really reliable camera. Thousands of photos, from freezing mountains to very warm. deserts and not one photo went wrong (unless it was my fault…).

– APPLE IPHONE 12     Very useful in many see&shot cases…

Lenses:

– NIKON 12÷14 mm     The best … (triad)

– NIKON 70 mm     … Triad…

– NIKON 80÷300 mm    Very versatile in a lot of situations.

Filters:

– LEE     The best … although not many versatile for trekking… but wonderful for seascapes and waterscapes photography…

Tripods, Monopods and ball heads:

– MANFROTTO     Perhaps 10 tripods… of different sizes, weights, and shapes…

– BENRO     …L’Elegant Angel very light and sturdy… once my only trekking companion…

Backpacks and Bags:

– LOEWEPRO     Very good and versatile

– TAMRAC     Once, for me… for many years… the best trek backpack… it was a pity that did not evolve the production…

– NIKON is Nice and handy but not as special as the above ones…

Mics:

– RODE     The best for trek&hike photography…

– SHURE    The best for studio recording…

INFORMATICS PC&MACs: >

– MSI pc 1TB SSD + 1 HD 4TB in + external HD and NAS Very reliable pc. Only 1 update inside

– iMAC Old but gold

– iPad is Quite useful but not to bring on trekking… Very nice and useful for many apps but in the end… you lose too much time instead of doing photos…

Sw:

– PHOTOSHOP The best

– PHOTO MECHANICS Unique for some type of labelling and archiving

OUTDOORS GEAR>

– LA SPORTIVA Very good and durable brand articles…

– SALOMON Very good and durable brand articles…

– MILLET Very good especially for some accessories…

– CORONEL TAPIOCCA Very good and, in some cases, with unique articles for particular situations but unfortunately no more available in Italy. It has a site .es but it is lacking of many articles…
