La storia dei mulini prende a spunto il Mulino di Neirone il primo oggetto di ricerca nel 2005, ma poi si parla anche di quello di Roccatagliata, di Corsiglia, di Costamaglio, etc. per parlare della storia dei mulini, ad acqua, a vento o eolici… La pubblicazione – completa di fotografie anche di documenti dell’epoca – concerne la storia di uno degli ultimi mulini rimasti nella Val Fontanabuona di Genova, in Liguria ed ancora con grande ruota. E’ situato in un bel posto in mezzo ai monti liguri con interessanti escursioni e passeggiate e trekkings quali l’Itinerario dei Feudi Fliscani, l’Alta Via dei Monti Liguri, i 7 Passi, etc.
Un viaggio nell’entroterra ligure per andare a trovare un amico che ha deciso di andare a vivere fuori dalla grande città e precisamente a Neirone. E’ questa la storia di un rustico abbandonato che egli acquistato e in parte ristrutturato facendolo tornare a vivere nel mezzo di una valle un tempo ricca di mulini e di storia. Ora la quiete ed il silenzio – inusuali ormai per noi abitanti stressati delle città – ammantano i boschi di castagne.
L’acqua non fa più girare la ruota del mulino ma ha fatto scattare in me l’ingranaggio per far girare quella del tempo.
Questo libro prende quindi a spunto il Mulino di Neirone per raccontare altre storie di mulini dell’Appennino Ligure come quello di Roccatagliata, di Corsiglia, di Costamaglio, etc. per parlare della storia dei mulini, ad acqua, a vento o eolici…. Completo di tante belle fotografie e, per alcuni, con documenti originali, contiene inoltre le descrizioni degli itinerari che attraversano le terre un tempo della potente famiglia genovese dei Fieschi o altri interessanti i mulini descritti come l’IFF (Itinerario dei Feudi Fliscani) l’AVML (Alta Via dei Monti Liguri), il 7P l’Itinerario dei 7 Passi, l’ISC Itinerario Storico Colombiano, la Via dell’Ardesia o del Pane, il 2G dei 2 Golfi, Barbagelata… il Caucaso… la Valle dei Mulini a Portofino e Paraggi… sull’Acquedotto Storico di Genova… in Tèra Brigašca…
