Luoghi Abbandonati – CASA BUCCAIUSA

Lungo la passeggiata/escursione che da Bavastrelli (901 m s.l.m.) porta al monte Antola (1597 s.l.m.) si incontra questa casa abbandonata nei pressi dell’abbeveratoio/lavatoio situato poco prima dell’attraversamento del Rio Buccaiusa (o Boccaiosa) e vicino alla fontana omonima. L’itinerario si snoda in mezzo a vasti terrazzamenti che erano un tempo coltivati ed oggi sono utilizzati per il pascolo con una bella vista sul lago del Brugneto. Si attravera poi una bella faggeta e si arriva al nuovo rifugio del Parco dell’Antola e quindi sul monte che da il nome al comprensorio del parco.

Along the walk/hike from Bavastrelli (901 m above sea level) leads to Mount Antola (1,597 m asl) meets this abandoned house near the watering place/wash basin located just before the crossing of the Rio Buccaiusa (or Boccaiosa) and near the fountain of the same name. The route goes through vast terraces that were once grown and today they are used for grazing with a beautiful view of the lake Brugneto. It crosses then a beautiful beech forest and you can arrive at the new Antola Park shelter and then on the top of the mountain that gives its name to the park area.
