Il libro è completo di molte fotografie e descrizioni del percorso che in alcuni tratti, come quello tra Albenga ed Alassio è rimasto molto simile all’antico percorso ed è una bella passeggiata tra mare e monti, paesaggio e storia.

A Historical Journey of Photographic Environmental Research. It was along this road that the Romans walked to go to Gaul and to Spain. Bitter fighting marked their passage. The Ligurians were fighting for their story. This text, images and photos tell of the passage, and the traces left. Of what has been handed down to the present. The book is full of many photographs and descriptions of the route and in some places, such as that between Albenga and Alassio is very similar to the old path and it is a nice walk between sea and mountains, landscape and history.
