Sono andato alla mostra “Mediterraneo” a Genova al Palazzo Ducale,perchè grande amante e conoscitore della Provenza e di molti suoi celebri pittori, qui presentati con diversi dei loro famosi quadri, in modo davvero affascinante.
La mia vera sorpresa però non è stata un quadro…

Ho comprato il dvd, giusto come si fa talvolta alle mostre per avere un “ricordo”, ripromettendomi di guardarlo in futuro.

Ebbene, solo in questi giorni ho avuto modo di visionarlo pensando di assistere all’esposizione del solito “catalogo” di “meraviglie multimediali” più o meno interessanti.

E la sorpresa, oltre a scoprire splendidi quadri di pittori quasi “sconosciuti”, è stata il narratore.

Sin dai primi minuti sono stato come “calamitato” allo schermo ed ho fatto un “viaggio” veramente bello e interessante e, seppure veramente lungo, avrei voluto che il dvd continuasse ancora.
Goldin è una di quelle rarissime persone che ascolteresti per ore senza accorgerti del tempo che passa.
Molti complimenti per il grande, impegnativo e bel lavoro.

P.S. Per la mostra su Van Gogh (e Gaugain), che a questo punto non voglio e non posso ovviamente perdere, passerò prima a prendere il dvd in modo da arrivare “preparato” alla mostra ed apprezzare appieno le novità che, anche se ho viaggiato e fotografato nelle terre di Provenza dipinte dal celebre pittore, sono sicuro che il “Narratore” ed anche i suoi eventuali compagni di viaggio (i miei apprezzamenti vanno anche a loro) mi faranno scoprire.

I went to the “MEDITERRANEO” paintings exhibition at the Palazzo Ducale in Genoa, because a great lover and connoisseur of Provence and its many famous painters, presented here with several of their famous paintings, in a very fascinating way.
My real surprise , however, was not a picture …

I bought the DVD, just as sometimes many of us do after seen an exhibitions just to have a “memory “, promising myself to look him in the future.

Well, these days I had the time to watch it and waiting to attend the exhibition as of the usual “catalog” of “multimedia wonders” more or less interesting.

And the surprise, as well as numerous works of painters discovered almost “unknown” was the narrator.

The first few minutes I was like “snapped” to the screen and I made a “travel” really nice and interesting, albeit very long, I would still go on that seen further on.

Goldin is one of those rare people who listen for hours without noticing the time passing by.

Many compliments for the great, challenging and beautiful work.

P.S. For the exhibition of Van Gogh (and Gaugain), which at this point I do not want to lose and I can not, of course, I will first get the DVD so I’ll get “prepared” to fully appreciate the news and shows that, although I have traveled and photographed in the lands of Provence painted by the famous painters, I’m sure the “Narrator” and also its potential travel companions (my appreciation also goes to them) I will find out.
